I guess I should start from the beginning, The Story of Ryan and Tanya. I'm gonna start at the very very beginning late in the spring of 2013 Kaeli and I went bowling with some friends and Ryan happened to show up with some of his friends that were mutual friends of mine! He happened to have been trying to hook up with one of them I can't remember which one. Anyway we met but he was distracted. Some months later, September to be exact at the SUU Rodeo, Ryan was on the rodeo team and was riding in the grand entry I spotted him out and instantly texted a mutual friend of ours Anna Hone to see if he was single, he was not. A month later at the Heritage and Livestock Festival is when we truly met! I was walking past the ranch rodeo and Anna called me over to met her friend Ryan we chatted for a minute then went our ways. We met up again that night at the dirt dance, I wanted so badly to ask him to dance but I was pretty sure he still had a girlfriend, which he did, thats why he never asked me. After the dance I went over with a bunch of him and his friends to a friends house for Annas birthday get together that was the last I saw of him until January 2014.
On January 19th a Sunday morning Kaeli and I went to church like always, Kaeli happened to drive that day and parked on the one way street next to the institute building (I never park on that street because it freaks me out that I could only get out one way) on our way into the building Ryan happened to walk up I said hi and he walked with us till we went into our sacrament meeting. Honestly didn't think twice about him after that. Kaeli wanted to bail on Relief Society (Love you Kay Kay) but I just had this feeling that we couldn't leave the building. So instead of going to Relief Society we ended up chatting with a leader in the hall for the hour a little before church got out Ryan walks up and starts chatting with us, he ends up walking us out to the car and asks me for my number! He didn't call for 3 days..I was slightly annoyed, when he finally did ask me to go on that first drive we didn't spend any more time apart then we had too!
I think it was about 2 weeks when I told Ryan we were gonna get married and he thought I was crazy but little did he know.. On April 28, 2014 Ryan took me on a horse ride up by Ashdown Forest subdivision kinda behind the golf course. We rode up on top of the hill and hiked up on to the top of a rock over looking Cedar City. He asked me to marry him and of course I said YES!!
